Westoning Village Hall Junior Disco is for children aged 9 - 13 years (school years 5 - 8)

The monthly discos in Westoning Village Hall are run on a purely voluntary basis and all monies raised are used solely for the upkeep of the Village Hall.

 Whilst several members of the Village Hall committee are CRB checked and able to help, we do need assistance from parents in order that we can keep running the discos for the enjoyment and benefit of the children who attend.

The dates for the discos in 2010/11 are listed below and we would be very grateful if you would offer to help at a couple of discos during the year to ensure that we have sufficient adults at each one.  Your child will be entitled to free entry when you help at the disco.

Membership cards are issued free of charge for your child and this allows priority admission to the monthly discos held at Westoning Village Hall

We have a limit on the number of children allowed in the hall so we will always operate a ‘first come first served’ policy but hopefully the cards will help us to keep non-members to the back of the queue.  The card will be needed for every disco until the end of the school year so please look after it.

Remember you are responsible for your child until he/she is through the gate.  Please don’t drop them off assuming that they’re at the front of the queue and bound to get in.

We reserve the right to ban any child who causes problems; we will not accept foul language.  Having said that most are well behaved but it only takes a couple to make our volunteer helpers reach the point where they think, “Why do I bother?”  

We need 10 helpers per night and the larger pool of names we have the easier it is.  Please let us know if you are prepared to stay to help once in a while – a form is available for you to complete.

If your child no longer wishes to come to the Westoning Disco please let me know so I can offer membership to someone else.  Thank you for your co-operation.
